The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for next month's bout.
Ex two time world boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to break his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized British rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, consistently making substantial earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers participated in the usual confrontation, with their physical disparity evident, it emphasized just how surprising this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is really proceeding.
